The clubhouse has been moved into position for us to work on it while the yard is somewhat clear.

Once the new roof and other repairs are made it will be placed in it's permanent location.

Biff is thinking of having volunteers help before or after the scheduled weekend racing.

More details will follow as the work has to be completed before the boatyard starts to fill again.

"Major work has been completed on the Club House. Some painting and interior work is still needed to be done to finish it. Volunteers are still welcomed.

There have been a few dedicated members who have worked many hours to get to this point. Several contributions have been made to help with the project cost.

The club house was constructed some time in the 30's and was a one room beach cabin that were prevalent in Marblehead. It may be the last surviving one.

When finished this space will be a wonderful addition to MMYC and we should be proud that it was facilitated and provided to us by a non-member who

wanted it to be saved and used as long as we maintain it."
